IT’S HERE: THE AMERICAN TREEHOUSE OPENS IN VENICE

VENICE, ITALY—The American Treehouse is now open to the public, and Myefski Architects is proud to share highlights from the exhibit’s radiant debut. The work is part of the Time Space Existence exhibition held in conjunction with the Venice Architecture Biennale. From the sunlit Marinaressa Gardens to the historic halls of Palazzo Mora, opening events celebrated the spirit of reconnection and renewal.

In the gardens, sunlight danced across the adjacent Venetian Lagoon as the angled wooden structure stood in bold contrast to the soft natural landscape. Interwoven panels caught the shifting light, casting ever-changing shadows that beckoned visitors inward. Guests were invited to pause, explore, and see from a new vantage—both physically and metaphorically.

Not far away, the companion exhibit at Palazzo Mora welcomed visitors into the creative journey behind the structure. Framed by the ECC's 2025 theme, Repair, Regenerate, Reuse, the indoor installation traces the conceptual evolution of the project, revealing how the strength and resilience of the site's iconic 'Pesto Pines' informed both its form and meaning.
