A 2018 graduate of the University of Michigan, Taylor earned a Master of Architecture degree from UM’s Taubman College of Architecture and Urban Planning. And, after two years at MA prior to grad school, she has rejoined the firm as an Architectural Coordinator.
During her time at Michigan, Taylor developed a passion for materials, textures, and unconventional methods of representation. Taylor furthered this passion while studying abroad in Spain, where she successfully completed the 600-mile Camino de Santiago pilgrimage. This love for travel continued during grad school, where she was able to travel to Paris and London with her studio, as well as Belgium, Portugal, Italy, and Mexico during semester breaks.
Taylor believes that care and attention to material details make for great architecture and beautiful design. Her desire to juxtapose materials in an interesting way makes Taylor a valuable addition to the Myefski Architects team.
With its rich architectural history, colorful cultures, and delicious pizza, making the move to Chicago was an easy decision for Taylor. In her free time, Taylor enjoys exploring new restaurants, visiting museums and galleries, and attending concerts/shows. When she’s not exploring the Windy City, she enjoys sewing clothes in her free time.
