Josh attended Ferris State University in Big Rapids, Michigan before moving to Chicago to attend the University of Illinois at Chicago where he received a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture. Josh paid his dues as an architectural intern at firms in the Chicago area, later becoming Project Manager at Pappageorge Haymes Partners. Finding that he yearned to get back to his hometown, Josh returned to Michigan’s Upper Peninsula to work with Barry J. Polzin Architects. He then joined the Myefski Architects team, eager to be a part of the new Marquette office.
As a member of Myefski Architects, Josh offers experience across a wide variety of project types ranging from residential remodels, custom homes, townhomes, mid-rise, and high-rises to mixed-use developments, retail/restaurant build-outs, hotel remodel and historic preservation. He is currently a member of NCARB working towards obtaining his architect’s license and enjoys spending time with his wife and three boys, assisting in their school sports activities and taking them hunting, fishing, and skiing.
