Brian contributes to the firm through his experience, design beliefs, and appreciation of craftsmanship. Growing up in rural Illinois, he began to practice woodworking and furthered this attention to detail studying for his Bachelor of Science at Southern Illinois University. With his passion for travel, he found himself at NewSchool of Architecture and Design in San Diego where he received a Master of Architecture and worked on numerous large educational facilities.
In 2010, Brian decided to move to Chicago to not only live in the city of modern architecture, but to also be closer to home. A licensed architect in the state of Illinois, AIA member, and a tenured figure at Myefski Architects, he has worked on multiple financial institutions, student housing, private residences, hotels, restaurants, and mixed-use projects. With strong work ethics, comprehensive thought, and self-motivation he helps motivate others and create thoughtful designs. Brian enjoys spending as much time as possible outdoors, and takes trips on his motorcycle whenever possible. He grew up loving football and has since become part owner of his favorite team, the Green Bay Packers.
