Anuradha grew up in India and attended Manipal University where she earned her Bachelor of Architecture. Shortly thereafter, she made her way to the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign to earn her Master of Architecture. Since then, Anuradha has worked in Chicago and Washington D.C. We are glad to have her back in Chicago as an Architectural Coordinator at Myefski Architects.
Anuradha is drawn to a combination of modern and minimalistic architecture. She credits this aesthetic after having grown up amongst the work of Louis I Kahn and Charles Correa.
When seeking inspiration, Anuradha looks outside of herself and heads to public squares or seeks conversation with others. By observing the behavior and patterns of other people, she is reminded of just how small she is in such a vast world. This reflection drives the way Anuradha approaches any design problem—we must go out and connect with people to find out what really matters to them.
