Originally from Bartlett, Illinois, Andrew attended University of Illinois at Chicago, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Architecture. Throughout his collegiate career, Andrew completed several projects, most notable being the “Suburban Roof”, which was nominated for a student award through the Chicago Chapter of the American Institute of Architects.
After completing his B.S., Andrew worked as a designer for start-up design firms. During this time, he contributed to all aspects of project development.
As an Architectural Technician, Andrew plays a crucial role in achieving client goals. By utilizing his extensive attention to detail and consistency, he successfully supports the project team.
When finding inspiration, Andrew walks around Chicago, taking in all the sites and noises of the city - he especially enjoys the calmness and complexity of the Harold Washington Library. Andrew appreciates the post-modern architectural design style, because it pairs classical elements with a clean, modern approach to color and character.
In his free time, Andrew enjoys biking, walking, drawing, playing with his cat, and thrift shopping.
